Longing pays homage to the passing of the artist’s grandmother. Suspended in the front of the installation are three screen-printed glass panels. The front panel depicts the subject as a bride. The surrounding panels are printed in white ink to allude to lace, but are actually interwoven maps of places where she lived through out her life. The cast resin frames on the walls are fragments of her husband’s photographs, which were taken of her throughout their marriage.
