Recollection is an installation consisting of nine antique school desks and a blackboard. While on a glass fellowship at the Creative Glass Center of America, the artist was inspired by its one-room schoolhouse. The desktops are re-fabricated in steel and cast glass and have an otherworldly presence when lit. The screen-printed blackboard and desktops refer to class photographs.
